These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of legacycomponents.com (the "Site"), operated by Legacy Components, 4613 North Clark Ave., Tampa, Florida 33614 ("Legacy Components," "we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Site on behalf of a company, you agree to them on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Submitting a request for quote (RFQ) through the Site is a request for information only. It is not an order, and it does not create a contract or obligate either party.
Prices, availability, date codes, lead times and other terms are confirmed only in a written quote from Legacy Components. All quotes, purchase orders and sales are governed exclusively by our Customer Terms & Conditions, available on the Site at /workbench/downloads/customer-terms-and-conditions.pdf, which take precedence over these Terms and over any terms on your purchase order. Purchases from suppliers are governed by our Supplier Terms & Conditions.
Inventory shown on the Site is a record of parts on file and is provided for convenience. It is not a guarantee of current availability, quantity, condition or date code, and it may change without notice. Product descriptions, specifications and datasheet links come from manufacturers and third parties; we do not warrant their accuracy. Always confirm a part's suitability for your application against the manufacturer's current specifications.
Information on the Site about testing, inspection and certifications describes our capabilities. Specific testing, inspection or documentation applies to an order only when stated in the written quote.
Legacy Components is an independent distributor. Unless expressly stated, we are not an authorized or franchised distributor of, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by, the manufacturers whose names, logos and marks appear on the Site. Those names, logos and marks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the products we source and distribute.
The assistant on the Site is an automated, AI-powered tool. It can make mistakes. Its replies are general information only, are not quotes, offers or commitments, and do not replace a written quote or advice from our team or the manufacturer. Do not rely on the assistant for safety-critical, regulatory or engineering decisions. How we handle conversations is described in our Privacy Policy.
Many products we supply are subject to U.S. export-control and sanctions laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). You agree to comply with those laws, to provide accurate end-use and end-user information when we ask for it, and not to use the Site to request products for a prohibited destination, end user or end use. Do not submit export-controlled technical data through the Site's forms or assistant without first contacting us to arrange an appropriate method.

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, the Legacy Components name and logo, and the selection and arrangement of information, are owned by Legacy Components or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and print pages for your own business use in evaluating and purchasing from Legacy Components. Any other use requires our written permission.
The Site links to manufacturer and third-party websites for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Warranties for products we sell are only those stated in our Customer Terms & Conditions and the written quote.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEGACY COMPONENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING THE WEBSITE ASSISTANT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). This section does not limit liability under a signed quote or purchase order, which is governed by our Customer Terms & Conditions.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Legacy Components and its employees from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms or of applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept them. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.
